With Spring here, that means lots of outside work around the house. Plus, lots of great walks with Puddin. This first video is one I posted early this morning, and it was from yesterday morning, when Puddin and I were playing in our kennel yard, and Puddin was watching the squirrels and birds, in the trees.

Puddin Watching the Squirrels and Birds

After an eventful winter, it is great to finally have decent, warm weather. Puddin is sure loving it. Though, this morning we woke with thunder and rain, in the early morning. It cleared up, after lunch, and we were able to get some good walks in. This next video is one that I posted yesterday, and I had filmed it when me and Puddin were coming back inside, after the above video. As I was walking in the front door, I looked down, and caught these two bumblebees. I would say love birds, but they are actually love bees. :)

I thought it was funny and had to share it. This is something that I am sure a lot of city folks have never witnessed. These are carpenter bees. They hibernate in the ground and when they come out, they build their next in wood. So, we have a lot of these guys living in our front porch swing chairs and swing. Which are all made from wood. They burrow a hole into the wood, and that is where they have their next for their baby's. Writing that makes me think of doing another video, just to share that info with others.
Carpenter bees are not aggressive, unless they feel threatened. So, I let them do their thing. I will not spray to kill them, and I that means I have a lot of them living on our front porch. They return every year. This has been going on for over 20 years, or longer.
Just after the above video, Puddin wanted to go for a ride. This is the video of Puddin riding through the Hollows here in Southern Middle Tennessee. This video was taken yesterday, just after posting the above video.

Puddin Riding the Backroads

Puddin loves to let her ears flop in the wind. She has just recently started enjoying riding, and now she goes to the truck when she is ready to go for a ride. We have to keep the speed under 20 mph, or she will stick her head back in, and fuss.
The first video I shared, above, is one I created yesterday, but I did not share it to my YouTube until today. This next video is one I share just a couple of hours ago. As me and Puddin were making our normal walk around the edge of our yard, I noticed this little fella. We have always called them pinch bugs, but I am sure they have a different name. These were used to mend wound, in the old days. Of course, Puddin wanted to sniff it, and say hi. Here is that video.

PUDDIN MEETS A PINCH BUG

As you can see, me and Puddin have had a few eventful days. I posted more videos, and you can see them on any of my Social Media Accounts. Today I posted a Bobcats Band of Gold video, and the Bobcats Coming onto the Field. Both videos came from the Bobcats last home game of the 2023 Football Season. I will be sharing more on the Bobcats Band of Gold this season, as well as the Bobcats Cheerleaders. They support the Bobcats Football Team, and I was meaning to share more on them this year. However, I was busy, and did not get the chance to this past season. I was planning on having a full video from each GAMEDAY, and about halfway through the season, I found myself with covered up with work, and did not get to do a full video on each GAMEDAY.
This season I am planning on doing that. And I do feel like I have a better idea on how to do that. I may even wait till the end of the season, to share the full videos. I was not able to keep my Blog up to date, but I did share some post, during the Football Season. In those post, I shared the short videos that I had posted.
Spring practice is getting close, but I do believe I will be sharing more videos of Puddin, and Joey the Claw. Joey the Claw in Our cat, and Puddin's best friend. They sleep together, and Puddin protects her. If Joey whimpers, Puddin comes running.
I will be sharing more of our walks, rides, and I will do a video about the carpenter bees, explaining more about them, and showing how many we have living on our front porch. Not to mention. Momma bird is back. This is the third year in a row that she has returned. She has a next in the corner of our front porch, and she has returned for 3 years in a row now. She is back a little earlier this year, and I have lots of video of her. Even from the past couple of years.

This is where I cover the Bobcats Football Team, and on this page, I will be sharing more info about my upcoming videos, and what I am planning on creating videos about. I do Maintenace after midnight. I am always finished before 5:00 a.m. the next morning.
