We are in the middle of spring, and we enjoyed some beautiful, warm weather the last week. Today we have had wind, and cooler weather move in. So, it was a great day to work on some more full videos. Of course, I still got lots of outside time with Puddin. But I did get some full videos posted. At least, longer videos. I am working on a full Giles County Bobcats vs. Lincoln County Falcons 2023 Full Football video, as well.

I had recorded a lot of videos during the past Football season, and my intent was to be sharing those videos during the off season. During the season I posted some full videos on some of the Bobcats Games, and I now realize that I should have waited, and did those after the season. When I created those videos, I had the kids and their families in mind, and did not add much commentary. I now realize that I should have done a better job with those videos. I am learning quickly, and the full videos are more difficult than the short videos. The main thing I have to remember is to tale a good story. And keep others in mind.
The Bobcats only had 8 regular season games, and I created a full video on most of those. Then, they played 4 playoff games. Which, I have not created any full videos on those games. Only short videos. TikTok keeps muting my sound on a bunch of those, and I try to go back in, and add the sound back. Then, they mute them again. Not sure why. I got the sound from them. Yet, I know now how to avoid the muted videos. And hopefully my short videos will be better.
My goal is to share more about our players, and Our Coaches. Both my brothers Coach, and I maintain the video for them, so 2 years ago I had the idea to share that video with the kids and their families. Sure, the team watches the film, but I want to give them more exposure, and share their achievements with others. Plus, I enjoy creating the videos, and highlighting the team and my brothers.
I have a lot of videos from the 2023 season, which I have not shared. When I say a lot, I mean a terabyte of video, or better. Now that spring practice is close, I am starting to post more of those videos. I am really working on my full video development techniques. I realize that I rushed my 2023 full game videos, and should have done a better job with them, and their story line. This season, I will.
Starting in the spring, I will post at least 1 full video each week. For the last 3 years in a row, the Bobcats have made it to the 4th round of the State Playoffs, and we have lost to Alcoa each time. So, I have a great story. This could be our season to make it past these guys, and that big feat. Alcoa is the reigning champions, and an extremely tough team. They have recruiting down pat, and kids come from all over their area, to play for them. We are not just playing the best kids in their County. We are playing the best kids in Southeast Tennessee. If we were to do what they do to recruit kids, we would get in trouble for it.
Now, do not take that the wrong way. I do not blame kids for wanting to move in and play for them. It gives those kids a great chance to get their college paid for, and I fully understand. A lot of other 3A Classification schools are wanting them to be moved up to 4 or 5 A classification. But not us. If they are the team on top, then that is who we want to beat. I really felt like we had a decent chance this past season. We had a loaded backfield, and some outstanding athletes. 3 of which have signed to play college football, at the same college, together. Plus, our kicker is still making up his mind, where he is going to go play college football at. He is a D1 caliber kicker and should make it to the pros.
This could be our season. I have been amazed at the work ethic of our guys. We may have the strongest team I have ever saw at Giles County, the next few seasons. This season, for sure. All of my Winter videos should be proof to that. Our boys are getting strong. They know what it is going to take to beat Alcoa, and they have really been going hard.
I posted Coach Holley speech on my TikTok and YouTube Channel this afternoon. It was around 2 minutes long, and included Coach OC, at the first of it. In the morning, I will be posting my Quarterback Footwork and Throwing Drill video. Along with, my full game video, that I have been working on for the last 3 days. It should be ready tomorrow afternoon.
Spring is a month away, and I it is hard to believe that we are about ready to strap the pads on, and get Our 2024 Season underway. Sure, it is just spring practice, but it is going to give us a great look at what we are going to look like this season. We lost some valuable players, and filling their shoes is going to be tough. However, this is the hardest working group I have ever saw. Their weightlifting maxes tell that tale for me.
I am just trying to catch you up on what is currently happening, and what I am working on. Like I said, I have a great story to tell. 3 years in a row we have lost in the Semifinal game, and it is time for us to dial in Aloca's number and bring that Gold Football back to Pulaski Tennessee. Where it belongs. I will be there for it, and I will be sharing the story as it unfolds. YEAH!
