TSSAA TRIED TENNESSEE 2 STEP with TRANSFER PORTAL RULE

Thank to Rep. Scott Cepicky and Sen. Adam Lowe, many Athletes throughout Tennessee will not have to suffer, or pay the price, for TSSAA monopoly on High School Sports.

 Rep. Scott Cepicky proposed HB 0025 and Sen. Adam Lowe Backed it with SB 0016.  This will allow for a 1 time transfer, which Lawmakers agree is only fair for Athletes, who want to better their chances for being successful.

  TSSAA's latest ruling specifically pointed out Athletes, which is another attempt for TSSAA to keep its tight grip on Tennessee High School Sports.  I believe that any Association that receives State Funds, should be more transparent.  They should have to show their yearly fiscal reports, and their meetings should not be allowed to be private. Or, the State needs to step in, and form an Organization which sets the rules, and bylaws for all Educational Activities in Tennessee.  

   TSSAA board members are not voted in by Tennessee Citizens, and should not have as much authority over Kids Lives.  As we have seen, they refuse to follow what State Lawmakers request, and feel as if they are above the Law.  With this new Bill, they will either sort it out, or no school in Tennessee will be able to be a member of the TSSAA.  This has been a long time coming, and should have not came to this.  

   Rep Scott Cepicky and Sen. Lowe now have my fullest support, and I encourage you to support both of these good men, if they are in your area.  Another great one is Sen. Hensley.

    I am just a ol' Country Fella, who has traveled many different paths in Life. However, GOD has blessed me with a chance to doing something positive with my life, and I am fully thankful.  I say this, because I read on Mr. Adam Lowes page that he is a Christian.  We are all men, who put our pants on the same way, and we all end up in the same place.  As long as we have breath in us, it is best to do the best we can, to help as many as we can.  And, I fully believe that Senator Adam Lowe is one whom follows this, and for sure believe in GOD!   You can click Sen.
