6 Brutal Truths That will make you a GOOD PERSON
The world can sometimes be a brutal and cold place. Although we think it’s also a matter of perspective, things can seem pretty rough in your life at times. We understand. But when things aren’t going exactly the way we planned them, do we prefer a sugar-coated lie or the brutal truth? Which one of these will make us better people and which one will help us learn and continue to grow and expand?
You got that right: ironically, it’s the brutal truth that will make us get up and go on. The more open we are to seeing things for what they really are, the faster we’ll mature and the better human beings will become. Here are 6 brutal truths that make you a better person.
Nobody is actually too busy to respond to you
If you’re not hearing back from someone, it’s because they have deliberately chosen not to answer you. I’m sure it occurred to you to send a text to someone only to realize they’ve never actually replied. We all get busy and sometimes we even find ourselves over our heads in work. But that is never an excuse for not keeping in touch with friends. It only takes about a minute to text someone telling them you’re busy and that they can come back later.
Everyone has their own best interests at heart
Nobody’s going to stick up for you if you don’t stick up for yourself. This is rule number one. Ever heard of the saying ‘you can’t love someone else if you don’t love yourself’? Well, it’s true. Take control over your life and the people around you and things will start to change. Ownership of who you really are can be really empowering. If people see you care about yourself enough, they will start caring for you.
You are never going to please everyone
You’re going to be criticized no matter what you do, so you might as well do what you love. Most of us crave to be appreciated and to fit in so we try to see what people want from us. But people are going to react differently to your actions. Some will agree, others won’t. This fact alone should release you of the idea that you have to be a certain way.
Your actions define you, not your thoughts
Your character is determined by what you do, not by what you think or worry about. It’s very common that we identify with our thoughts and emotions, but the truth is our ‘self’ is more complex. We should be defined by what thoughts we act upon. We can think of making the world a better place while acting in the total opposite manner. Consequently, it is best if our thoughts and actions are in balance.

Notes from DOC:
My intentions have clearly been laid out. My intent, is to reach as many people, as I can. And try to help, as many people, as I can. Life is a roller coster ride. It's best to keep your Arms, Legs, Mind and Body, in the Ride. Your mind, is the most critical Factor.
Keep your Wits about yourself, and understand yourself. Know your Emotions, and be able to maintain, your Emotions. Once you have indentified your Emotions, and that which disturbs them, then it is up to you, to eliminate that Disrutption.
All you have control of is: From the Tips of your fingers, to the tips of your other fingers. And, from the hair on your head, to your toe tips. That is all you have Control over. YOURSELF! Sure, you can manipulate situations, and things work out. But, most of the time, those situations you feel you have manipulated to work in you Favor, turn sour.
So, you main Goal should be to get Control of YourSelf. No one can do it for you, and everyone is playing the same Game. WAKE-UP- Just Wake-Up. Thats all you need to do. Life becomes so much easier, and you are finally able to enjoy this Present, which Our Creator, has shared with us.
